I finally got a chance to get to know a Oaxaca’s hidden treasure: Capulalpam de Méndez. Located up north the State about 2,000 meter over the sea level.
It’s a quiet place with a great view and very nice and kind people. It’s considered a Magical Village under the national programme of tourism that recognises small towns with natural beauty, outstanding cultural values, traditions, historical relevance, architectural and culinary variety.
When I got there, people were decorating the entrance of their church named San Mateo built during the XVII century in order to celebrate their annual feast.
Once I got inside, I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to reflect and show its misticism through some pictures using the HIPSTAMATIC app on my iPhone 4S. (Camera: Classic Black. Lens: John S. Film: Ina’s 1982).
